Dirtbags Academy is the youth mentorship and skill-building branch of Dirtbags California. We support local youth who face barriers such as academic disengagement, limited opportunities, or social marginalization. Through mentorship, hands-on skill development, and real-world community projects, Dirtbags Academy provides a safe and inclusive environment where young people can explore new skills, discover career pathways, and build the confidence to succeed. Our program blends practical trade training with personal growth, giving participants the tools to excel both professionally and personally. At Dirtbags Academy, every project is a chance to learn, every skill is a step toward independence, and every student is part of our family.

Dirtbags Do Good, is a community clean-up program that brings together youth, neighbors, and local partners to create positive change in Long Beach. Through hands-on projects, participants not only help keep our neighborhoods clean and welcoming, but also build teamwork, leadership, and a sense of pride in their community. More than a clean-up, it’s a movement, empowering young people to give back, connect with others, and show that Dirtbags truly do good.
