Who we are
Dirtbags Foundation is a grassroots nonprofit in Long Beach dedicated to empowering individuals from marginalized communities. We believe everyone deserves access to opportunity, growth, and belonging, no matter the barriers they face.
Through programs that blend mentorship, skill-building, and community engagement, we create pathways for education, workforce development, and personal transformation. Our goal is simple: to equip people with the tools, confidence, and support they need to thrive in life and contribute to a stronger community.
At Dirtbags Foundation, every program is a chance to uplift, every skill learned is a step toward independence, and every participant is part of our family. Together, we’re building futures fueled by resilience, creativity, and community.
Mission
To equip young people facing barriers with the skills, mentorship, and support they need to pursue meaningful careers and lead confident, self-reliant lives. Because at Dirtbags, we believe “goals are meant to be grasped”
.
Vision
A community where every young person, regardless of background, has the opportunity, resources, and belief in themselves to achieve their goals.
